Comparison Table

WFMwizard Comparison table

How WFMWizard compares to all other tools sold on the web? Direct comparisons with those WFM solutions tell the story better than we ever could.

We urge you to look first at the big picture, comparing things like product's perception, ease of use, technology and process completeness, and then the major modules - the "building blocks" of any WFM solution.

In our opinion, backed by long years of hands on experience in this field, it is difficult to compare every feature and option so we focused on the things that really make the difference:

General

WFMwizard

Other Tools

Product's perception

Workflow based, complete workforce management weekly planning cycle

Function based, mainly agents staffing calculator, very few with a separate scheduling module

Ease of use

Extremely intuitive and user friendly. Wizard based, extensive integrated help,  step-by-step walk through

Some very complicated to use, some adequate. No one has wizard based process.

Technology

Advanced, up do date, .NET based

Outdated, some were developed years ago and didn't change much since then

Modules

WFMwizard

 Other Tools

Forecasting

Advanced forecasting algorithms, including time series, smoothing and machine learning. Automatic best fit, special dates consideration, manual intervention options, etc.

No forecasting Module, you have to forecast call volumes by yourself and paste the results. Forecasting accurately is as important as staffing accurately, as they are part of the same process

Agents staffing

Proprietary, improved Erlang C equations, taking into account customer patience and calls abandonment - allow accurate agents staffing calculations

Some still use the regular Erlang C formulas with no modifications, not taking into account calls abandonment. Accuracy is thus limited;

Shift Design

Intuitive "stretch and drag" GUI and Optimization Engine help you find the best shift schedule design and the optimal number of agents for each shift

No shift design module. Some products allow manually entering of the current shifts structure

Scheduling Agents and Breaks

Automatic scheduling engine schedules each agent to the best possible shift. Schedules are based on individual agent constraints, availability and preferences with manual configuration options. Automatic Breaks scheduling and manual activities scheduling

Some without automatic Scheduling engine. Some with separated scheduling module. Limited agents constrains and availabilities configuration. No breaks and activities scheduling

Reports and charts

Extensive reports and charts options

Limited reports and charts

Import/Export Data

Intuitive, Semi-Automatic import wizards, easy cut and paste data import and export

Limited or complicated methods
